S1 - Risk and experience dealing with Chinese turbines

13 Nov - From 10:00 to 11:50

Introduction

European and North American turbine manufacturers are very slow in adapting to wind asset owners' needs, which creates a huge window for Chinese wind turbines. Chinese turbines is being considered more and more. This roundtable will explore key risks—such as supply chain reliability, O&M challenges, and performance variability—alongside the benefits, including cost competitiveness and increasing technological advancements. Together, we will compare real-world experiences, discuss contractual considerations, and examine long-term fleet strategies to optimize operational outcomes.
