The only Wind Expo in the world
- with NO sales pitches
At a regular wind expo, you discuss wind farm operations only with persons who want to sell you their products and/or services. At the OR2024 Wind Expo, we do not have anyone with anything to sell you; only true peers sharing the same perspective and honestly balance the pros and cons.
Preparations
At the conference venue, we have arranged for a little exhibition. Each company has been given a stand to present their company from a wind farm operation's perspective.
At each stand, each company has two things:
A poster listing the following:
Top three major wind farm operations activities planned within the next 12 months,
Top three wind farm operations activities that turned out to be much better than expected during the last twelve-month
2. Some famous liqueur from their home country
That should most likely give you much to talk about with your peers. Before the event, your company will be sent a link to answer these three questions.
At our most recent Owners Roundtable, most companies brought some famous national beverages from their respective countries to serve at their stand. The Norwegians had Aquavit, the Ukrainians vodka, the French Pastis, the Italians limoncello, etc..
The most recent Owners Roundtable was held in pre-Corona times, before Russia had invaded Ukraine. Our dear Ukrainian members brought some local Vodka and the evening ended at their stand. Unfortunately, D.TEK is not participating this year.
The EXPO is more of a gimmick and a creative approach to getting to know the other companies and triggering valuable discussions.
It’s definitely a successful formula for gaining knowledge and developing a network.
It might be difficult to bring the famous liquor on your flight. We suggest that you send it to the hotel before going to Madrid.
You should send it to the following address: Novotel Madrid Campo de las Naciones, C. de Ámsterdam, N° 3, Barajas, 28042 Madrid, Spain.
Our contact at Novotel, Jesus, wants you to mark your package: Attention Jesus from the Sales department.
